Hope, Guidance & Compassionate Advocacy
We help organize, communicate, and manage difficult details when it matters most.
Elder Solutions & Advocacy was created from a deeply personal place. My husband’s diagnosis and my role as his caregiver opened my eyes to the emotional, physical, and spiritual weight that families carry when facing the challenges of aging and long-term care. My experience working with individual adults and financially vulnerable individuals further showed me how often families are left searching for guidance, comfort, and someone who truly understands.
My partner, Jeffrey Denholtz, brings a thoughtful blend of business insight and a professional background in pharmacy, allowing us to support families with both knowledge and compassion. Together, we saw the need for a service that offers far more than expert advice—one that provides gentle direction, steady hands-on support, and heartfelt advocacy during times when life feels overwhelming.
If you would like to discuss your needs further, please contact me for a complimentary phone consultation at 201-458-2237. I would be glad to speak with you and provide guidance tailored to your circumstances.
With warm regards,
Co-Founder
Elder Solutions & Advocacy, LLC
Our mission is to deliver compassionate advocacy and practical guidance, helping individuals and families navigate complex care and life transitions with dignity, safety, and informed choice. When needed, our services may also include support in circumstances involving guardianship or advanced decision-making assistance, provided within ethical and professional guidelines.
My passion for advocacy developed over many years of working closely with individuals and families during periods of transition. In my roles as a property manager and real estate professional, I often assisted residents with paperwork, benefits, medical and service appointments, housing decisions, and other complex responsibilities. Through those experiences, I saw how overwhelming these processes can become — particularly when people are already managing stress — and how meaningful it is to have someone who can help organize information, coordinate details, and bring a sense of calm to difficult situations.
That understanding deepened on a very personal level when my husband was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease at age 57. Overnight, I found myself navigating disability applications, legal and financial planning, healthcare coordination, family communication, and the emotional impact of a life-changing diagnosis. Walking through that journey taught me how challenging these systems can be and how critical it is to have clear information, compassionate guidance, and reliable direction.
Both my professional background and caregiving experience shaped the foundation for Elder Solutions & Advocacy. Through this work, I offer structured assistance, resource navigation, relocation and transition planning, and dependable advocacy — including support in situations that involve complex decision-making or guardianship-related coordination. My approach is steady, ethical, and practical, with an emphasis on helping individuals and families move through important decisions with confidence and reassurance.

I am a seasoned business professional with a diverse background in pharmacy, healthcare management, and real estate. My academic journey began at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey, where I graduated summa cum laude in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree. I continued my studies at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy in Baltimore, earning my B.S. in Pharmacy in 1978 and becoming a Registered Pharmacist (R.Ph.), as well as earning the designation of Doctor of Pharmacy (P.D.).
My pharmacy career spans both retail and independent practice. I worked at Rite Aid Pharmacy from 1978 to 1982 and later contributed my skills to several independent pharmacies, including Hiawatha Pharmacy (1982–1987) and Green Pharmacy (1987–1989). These experiences allowed me to gain extensive knowledge in patient care, medication management, and the operational side of the pharmaceutical industry. Throughout my career, I always strived to provide professional, compassionate care to every patient I served.
In addition to my pharmacy background, I have been deeply involved in healthcare entrepreneurship. From 1989 to 1992, I founded and served as CEO of Helping Hand Healthcare, a nursing agency that placed home health aides and nurses into private homes to meet a broad range of patient care needs. Under my leadership, the agency focused on delivering high-quality, compassionate, and appropriate in-home healthcare services.
I am also a long-standing professional in the real estate industry. I have been a licensed real estate agent since 1980 and am currently the owner and broker of Jersey Success Realty. In this role, I apply decades of experience in property transactions, business development, and client service to help individuals and families navigate important real estate decisions.
With a career that spans healthcare, pharmacy, entrepreneurship, and real estate, I bring a multifaceted and well rounded expertise to Elder Solutions and Advocacy.
